Thanks for looking out...Ill be ordering my tickets tomorrow . Does anyone know what the staind vip package involves? No problem. As far as the VIP thing goes, according to the listing on Ticketmaster, it is "VIPs get access to a great ticket, a Meet and Greet with Staind, and a laminate that will be signed by the band at the Meet and Greet!"

Ok so Stimulate This! MIGHT BE THE GREATEST TOUR EVER! lol Halestorm's set is pretty short but hey who cares. Chevelle... They're okay... Shinedown killed it as always and Staind was absolutely amazing. HS did get to do a signing after the whole show. It was crazy.

I bought a VIP ticket through SD's fan club for Detroit; includes a laminate & a M&G with the band ('cause God knows I've never met SD, lol ;D). Anyway, got an e-mail from the club saying that they expanded the M&G to include soundcheck as well! Sad to hear that HS has a short set; such a huge tour you'd think they could get enough crew to do <15 min set changes & give HS & Chevelle a little more time. Or, y'know, just dump Chevelle

I would rather they gave them a longer set than have added yet another band to the tour (Lo-Pro), but I have seen Halestorm three other times already, so it'll be ok when I go in August. As long as Halestorm is around like they always are before and after their part of the show, I'll be happy.

Lo-Pro wasn't at the show in Peoria... HS got five songs and the drum circle. Unfortunately standard... (Brings me back to the old days of Shinedown on the Tantric/3 doors down tour haha)

Either way, I think around five songs was actually pretty standard for Halestorm when they opened for Shinedown earlier this year. I was kinda spoiled by the last little tour with Veer Union and such where they got more time I guess.

I think they should switch with Chevelle lol I agree, but Chevelle has been around for about 10 years, so that's just a nice little dream for us Halestorm fans. I can't really comment on Chevelle though because I've never really paid attention to them. Even so, I don't know why they are even on the tour when they aren't on Atlantic Records, but that's another story.

I don't think Chevelle and Staind even fits in the same catigory as HS and SD!!! I myself thought Staind was a buzz kill after HS and SD's killer shows. Brent kept the crowd into it the whole time they played it was awesome!!! I think Chevelle and staind should have opend for HS and SD!!!

Yeah I understand totally about Chevelle I'm just biased cuz I'm so not a fan... And yeah why not get another Atlantic band? I don't quite understand that... But oh well guess take who you can get.
HS definitely did sound HUGE in that arena... The sound was killer last night. Even the bands were stoked about it.
Personally, I love Staind I've always loved Staind and I thought they fit in just fine with the bands... Especially cuz of the whole Atlantic Records deal... But that's just me. I can see how some people wouldn't like the laid back feel after Shinedown. The SD boys were definitely in rare form last night.

I have 2 Staind cd's and I love their music I just don't feel they fit in. SD in rare form? Are they not always that kick ass?

They're always good... But that was probably in my top 3 for shows for those guys... And they were just all in really good moods and stuff.
